Xsolla talked with Francisco Tufró from a small studio Nastycloud, situated in Argentina. We’ve talked about their recent project Nastycloud, which is currently gathering pledges at Kickstarter, and discussed the advantages of having a great active community.
Xsolla had a chance to talk with Forrest Dowling – one of the developers of The Flame in the Flood – a cool new game that gathered over $200k on Kickstarter. Forrest is no newcomer to games. He served as a lead level designer for Bioshock: Infinite. His new game, based on Unreal Engine 3, serves as a great example of an incredibly talented and original project produced by a small and talented team.
Xsolla had a chance to talk with Matthew Dai – the development director from Chinese outsourcing company Adia Entertainment. This studio worked with various AAA-developers and publishers including Ubisoft, ANught Dog, Sega, EA, Sony, Midway, Crytek and Square Enix. Unlike other outsourcing visual content producers Adia manages to produce great work with a very limited staff of 250 people. If you’ve ever played The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite or Lors of the Rings Onli, you must have seen some of the models, CGI or animation made by Adia. No wonder we were so interested to talk with Matthew about his company.
